Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Brussel sprouts washed and halved
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • Shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Heat a cast iron pan
  • Once heated
  • Drizzle olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan
  • Place the halved Brussel sprouts facing down and fry for about 5 minutes until golden
  • Flip over and fry for another 4 minutes
  • Drizzle good amount of balsamic vinegar
  • Sprinkle the pine nuts
  • Cook until the nuts are toasted
  • Remove and serve with a sprinkling of Parmesan
